Bit of an idiot who loves writing, motorcycles, video games, and cyberpunk.

A debut novel is crawling slowly towards publication, with an in-universe novella coming as well.

Another amazing bit of magazine cover art from Force Fluide www.artstation.com/forcefluide2. More retro scifi glam than #cyberpunk, but I'm partial to the inclusion of Wayne Rainey's 1988 YZR500.

Disturbing, in both style and content. I love it. #cyberpunk woman from Rashed AlAkroka www.artstation.com/rashedjrs

The sand toys are a bit of an odd choice, but I do like the general feel of this #cyberpunk image. The narrow view into what feels like the last possible option for whoever is desperate enough for whatever this machine would be vending. www.artstation.com/optics9348

Not overtly #cyberpunk, more transhumanist as the title indicates, but still a very arresting piece of art from Anna Mary M via their ArtStation www.artstation.com/ttomb6.

High tech low life #cyberpunk image from Eddie Mendoza www.artstation.com/eddie. Even when there is a technical replacement for phones (implants) I think they will persist. You want people to know you're on a call, not talking to yourself and people do like to indicate social status through devices.

The final image is really cool, but I like this progression of the WIP designs for this #cyberpunk megacorp security PMC officer by Nick Bray www.artstation.com/nickbray

This isn't the final version of this #cyberpunk drawing by Clint Cearley www.artstation.com/clintcearley, but I think I like it more than the finished version. There is a roughness to it, and I like the more subdued lighting compared to the final fully blocked and colored piece.

Heavy mood in this #cyberpunk street concept from Francisco Landa www.artstation.com/patxi_landa. The full red scheme instead of the more common blend of blues/purples/greens gives it a more ominous feel. Rachel from Blade Runner makes a cameo on one of the billboards.

Even the more stationary poses in these #cyberpunk book covers from Ignacio Bazan-Lazcano exude action. They were done for @dlyoung.bsky.social's Cyberpunk City series which has now been added as next up on my reading list.

A new #cyberpunk/#scifi novel by debut author Bryant Callahan. Love the cover design with the traditional oil painting, DaVinci Creation of Adam feel to it.

I was planning on very few physical ARCs for my #cyberpunk novel, but the ones I do send out I was going to include a bookmark or sticker, so I had my cover artist draw this disgusting rollerdog.

There's a very different use of light in this 3d model created by Shubham Parte. Instead of the dark gloom of most #cyberpunk scenes, they have used that Golden Hour light to wash out the neon and bathe the scene. More cool stuff on their ArtStation page www.artstation.com/shubhamparte

This is a great first chapter for Mira Wendam's new #cyberpunk novel, Dead Line. Free on their site now. It reminded me of 36 Streets from T.R. Napper.

Concept art from Huang Fan that would look at home in Blade Runner. A very different style from most #cyberpunk pieces, with almost a collage feel to it in her hair and the tattoo on her arm. A bunch more scifi pieces in their ArtStation portfolio www.artstation.com/fanhuang

This piece by @seventeenth.bsky.social is amazing, especially in how it conveys the oppressively garish aspects of the #cyberpunk environment, but with a relatively soft palette and implied detail instead of an overwhelming set of visuals. From their Cara page here cara.app/post/ec87775...

High level of detail in a a bit of a retro anime style for these #cyberpunk environments by Tano Bonfanti www.artstation.com/artwork/k4e6od

No sauce for this #WIPsnips, but condiments is close. There is a bit earlier in the chapter that sets the context for the pig trotter part, but even in #cyberpunk dystopian futures, convenience store hot dog technology has not evolved. It has already reached the pinnacle of tube meat delivery.

Beautiful art that's #cyberpunk enough to post as such. A visualization of talking to a digital construct? Talk to Me by Barbara Candiotti www.artstation.com/bcandiotti

A #cyberpunk idiot is confronted with a much more manual piece of technology than he is used to. #WIPsnips for the novella.
June 19, 2025 at 4:54 PM
Tiny little #WIPsnips, not from the main MS but the novella that's also a WIP to give me something to do other than stare at the main ms.

No one gets famous in #cyberpunk except for all the wrong reasons.

#WIPsnips

A short little #WIPsnips today ... plenty of teams in the MS, but this is a more self contained little blurb.
