Great poem. I do wonder how do we encourage people to listen? Because there must be ways.

So does this mean they are going to pay the people's who IP has been stolen to build LLMs? Because the government surely wouldn't be paying for the whole country to use stolen goods. That would be insane...

One of the ways that can help with this *is* finding clear ways to explain our methodologies to non-specialist audiences. I didn't receive a historiography class until I was in the 3rd year of my history undergrad. Any science course I've taken had a potted methodology section at the start.

I think it's a good start. Maybe it could go in healthcare and social workers training modules on ME/CFS to show how they could actually help support pwME already while we wait for more research. If we did have support in all the sections outlined, our quality of life would be a lot better.

I feel more hope for everyone with ME/CFS when I see it being treated like any other serious illness. Thank you all very much for your work.

For Scottish undergrad you sample a few different subjects in your 1st + 2nd yrs. In the opening lectures for psychology you get a brief introduction to how psychology is done i.e. empirical methods. For history, which I continued with, this conversation didn't take place until my 3rd yr.

Does anyone know where it is for sale, as in what platform it is on, please?

I hadn't come across the boom and bust cycle before as a psychologisation of the disease before, which is what confused me. Thanks for posting.

I always thought it was quite a natural response to M.E. symptoms: you do too much when not understanding how P.E.M. works for you and end up in a boom and bust cycle. When one learns to pace that can be avoided (hopefully) for day to day life and gives your body a chance to stabilise a bit.

I found this article a bit confusing tbh. I am having a bit of PEM myself though right now, so that might be why. I always understood the Boom and Bust analogy for M.E. to be a tool to help avoid P.E.M (Post Exertion Malaise). I found it quite helpful when learning to pace my energy. Cont.

That's really interesting but I don't want to click 'like'. 👍 to finds, 👎 to cadaver water source pollution.
