Worrying from Sony... Are they about to kill off all alternative accessible input devices / wired controllers that are not officially approved?

Will that be "Gaming that is accessible for all"?

Nice one! Hope they include alternative play modes, as that twin mouse mode looks impossible to access for some who'd no doubt love to play this.

Also reminds me of the old International Soccer hack. Wheelchair 'Murderball' Rugby next?

Nintendo Switch 2: Wheelchair Basketball - using twin mice controllers. Hope they're offering alternative ways to play, as access wise, they look impossible for some.

And agreed on the split controllers. Always liked having these in the tool kit, and similar.

I think sometimes there's no need to reinvent the wheel. This really addresses the pdp One Hand Controller long being out of stock, and improves upon it with the optional toppers and extra buttons. The close alternative was hacked Wii nunchuks at a far higher price/time to make.

Namco had been making Japanese language AAC devices for Disabled people (communicators) since 1985 under the Namcot name. Here's them branching out to the Anglosphere, with Pac-Man branding....

...and a few years later, I saw Namco had made this. Not saying they copied me, and if they had, I don't care anyway.

Use a wide array of accessible joysticks and gamepads with the HID Remapper v7 on a Sony Access Controller or Xbox Adaptive Controller.

The latest firmware update allows for all sorts of sticks to work now without having to reprogramme the unit: www.oneswitch.org.uk/art.php?id=369
