I write, draw, and share cool stuff I find. Sometimes I tell jokes. Just kinda doing my own thing.

If you’re on PC, head to the insert tab and pick Headers and Footers. Click on header and see what happens.

That sounds like you might have added a header by mistake

Last step is to paste the text where it’s supposed to be. If down whatever reason it’s missing from your copy/paste, copy from the backup.

Id then use the find tool’s replace function to replace every instance with blank. You can do this by hitting on replace with nothing in the replace bar. This will quite literally erase every instance of that text at once.

So what I’d try is to copy that text and paste it in a separate document as a backup

I’d then paste the text in the docs find tool in your big document to highlight every instance of the text, all few hundred of them.

Oh, haven’t had that one before.
I have a fix if you want one

I’m concerned that you would, but intrigued that you might

Freaked out in what way? If it’s toast, you might be able to recover an autosaved backup

I tried this, and have to say it is both a blessing and a curse. A blessing because you get to weave an incredible tapestry of arcs and journeys, and a curse because all that work is down the drain without a hell of a lot of marketing during and before writing the books themselves.

(2/2) There’s some pretty important differences too, but it’s close enough that part of me can’t help but wonder if somewhere down the line I’ll be called a knockoff.
Even that isn’t a big deal in the end, but I’d rather not wear a shoe that doesn’t fit.
Have you guys been in this boat?

I find it funny that this used to be a huge draw in storytelling to make the MC more relatable. Like Luke Skywalker and his power converters

Well somebody’s got to tell the BBEG that the protags have escaped the dungeon

Gotta write to get money. Gotta get money to write.

Much appreciated! I am afraid I’m not one for AI tools, but it’s good to know things like that are out there.

I had to Google what that was to respond lol. No, I’ve never used it

The most impressive feat I’ve ever seen from a story is when the author somehow wrote a sentence as long as a page. The sentence was near unreadable, but still impressive.

With each story I write, I also have a “Leftovers” document specifically for this purpose. That way I can come back to it later if a scene works somewhere else. It comes in handy and softens the blow when trimming
