Has there been a more corrupt head of state in any country since the separation of king and state?

“So you’re saying calling Exterminatus on a world of a trillion people over a couple of hundred cultists is not actually a laudatory example of good triumphing over evil no matter the cost, but is in fact a scathing moral fable about the perils of intolerance?”

I suppose this Rock take might be something you could arrive at if you read *only* a subsection of Imperial splat books, with an entirely uncritical or actively sympathetic eye?

A salutary reminder that relying on a single source of information is always a bad idea, esp wth self-serving narrators!

Staggering that he can say “Russia is shaping to take Greenland!” with a straight face when he is trying to hand them the keys to the whole continent

We absolutely do need a sovereign AI, less for understanding cultural nuances and more for hedging against both foreign influence operations and the inevitable cost surge that will come when OpenAI, DeepSeek et al have enough corporations locked in that they can try to make back some investment cap

A bit like McDonalds and Coca-Cola trying to walk the line between “our product is fun and great and you should consume it!” and “… but not all the time, for reasons we would prefer not to go into…”

I’m surprised it’s taken this long.

I wondered who would be the one to make prompt your own movie first, and do to Netflix what Netflix did to Blockbuster… Amazon it is
