I don't think Christopher Reeve's Clark Kent can ever be beaten. There may be better Superman movies to come, but his performance out of the cape is what makes the Donner/Lester movies fly. It's so good, you forget it's a performance.

Our lecturer had a picture of a woman up on a slide and clearly expected us to know who she was, but we're all Gen Z so none of us did. I guessed Princess Diana which was incorrect. It's this photo btw
