Communists in the former Eastern Bloc were racists, homophobes and antisemitists. So it kind of tracks. Although I would think Norwegians know better.

To me, a tankie is a person from the West who never lived under communist dictatorship but read some books and claims things which are completely detached from reality. And who claim they are a pacifist but then find every excuse for violence and invasion against, well, whoever they don’t like.
