My WISMAC co-chair and partner in crime Kimberly Kho sent me this. It reminded her of Sharon Reimold who recently passed. We celebrate Sharon’s vision and leadership.

Also a reminder that in science, it’s important we celebrate each other’s victories and awesomeness now and openly. Be generous.

Find a friend to talk science with. Or assemble a peer group. Exchange ideas and critiques.

I’ve always believed this is critical to doing good science.

Just learned about this @NIH initiative ARPA-H to accelerate health outcomes via research. A $2.5B investment! This was born 18 months ago.

At our @ReBuildaKidney meeting, Iain Drummond reminds us why studying development is important: Zebrafish can regenerate their kidneys via a recapitulation of nephron development processes. Beautiful! #Kidney #Regeneration #DevBio
