The barn was on the property of a farm where Berg and Høeg lived at the end of their lives. A series of negatives in a box labelled “private” contained photographs of Berg and Høeg dressed in men’s clothes, smoking, and wearing mustaches.

The Pabst Building was built in 1891 as offices for the Pabst Brewing Company. Torn down in 1981, it was replaced by the PoMo box of the 100 E Wisconsin Building in 1989 whose design was meant show homage to the Pabst Building and to compliment City Hall just down Water Street
