Also, one can fit the entirety of Europe inside the US, so I think if half the population of every European country decided to talk about a thing at once, it'd likely be pretty prominent regardless.

Also around me are real food apacilyptic wastelands. There are areas with no public transport, no delivery, unlikely Uber, etc. Certain populations are absolutely destitute in those areas and barriers can be intense even for the most willing and capable.

People can bitch, but I manage to homeschool my kid in a single income situation and I'm not wealthy. I'm a spreadsheet creep and I promise this is about as efficient cost-wise as it goes for me.

Other than the butcher, shopping groceries "local" would break the bank.

I'm not sure what the debate it. Delivery groceries are massively useful. My wife homeschools our kid. For mid week runs, supplies, etc, W+ is aces even as it's not our main grocer. It gives Paramount or Peacock free which almost offsets the cost and they have deals with, like, BK for 25% daily.

Oh for sure, agree. I don't think that's the zeitgeist of the moment with the question for most responders. I've seen pretty robust belief in the ancient aliens stuff for example.
