Yesterday we were looking for the "Grifo" model of faucet to go with the vanity we picked out. And then I realized that grifo is Spanish for faucet.

Especially since they always use vague "there was an incident" phrasing. Like, I don't want some poor kid's medical details but something beyond "the police were called but everyone's fine" would be nice? IDK, I know they have to be careful what info they give it. I just don't like any of this.

We get automated calls from the school whenever there's an incident, whether that means police are involved or a student had a medical emergency, and while I appreciate the school wanting to keep parents informed it honestly just increases my anxiety.
