I'm angry that I'm viewed through a highly partisan lens, yet I speak on behalf of the most divisive and highly partisan administration in recent memory.

Let's rephrase this: I want my cake and to eat it too.

Biden had his moment with Afghanistan and his numbers never recovered. With Trump and MAGA going scorched earth, I'm curious to see how his approval rating looks in 18 months, compared to Biden's. It seems like independents didn't sign up for this, but I might be living in a Bluesky bubble too.

These people worship a guy who thought the best way to reduce COVID-19 numbers was to reduce testing. So yeah, this logic seems to check out.

$30k isn't going to cover the PTSD these people will have for the rest of their lives. I hope they don't accept it and sue.

I'd love to ask this guy on his deathbed, "Was it worth it?"
February 21, 2025 at 3:16 AM
Well, the last time a monarchy ruled us, that worked really well. So yeah, I'll let him run with it for now.

Honest question: Why do you think this isn't being covered more widely?

They're not just arresting criminals.

Also, if you're angry that a public figure is using their platform to educate people about their rights, that means you likely intended to violate them.

This guy sounds like he crawled out of a sewer.

Momma gonna Knox you out?
February 15, 2025 at 6:40 PM
You're doing important work, and it's needed more than ever right now. Keep going!
February 13, 2025 at 7:52 PM
Wait, I thought no one wanted electric vehicles and that the government was done subsidizing them? Also, aren't MAGA supporters going to complain about charging stations on the battlefield?

It's like we're all in the friggin' Twilight Zone.

Hey @nytimes.com, Why don't you own up to your role in platforming Pamela Paul and contributing to the pain now being inflicted on trans youth?

One of the most expensive shows of political theatre ever seen.... Even worse, half the voting base likely doesn't even realize this was a play.
January 19, 2025 at 8:37 PM
I mean, the guy looks like a human Cabbage Patch doll these days. Why not throw in another level of weirdness with a $900k watch?
January 9, 2025 at 4:34 AM
I certainly don't envy what you went through. But I wish I had more appreciation for the value of my everyday freedom. Wishing you a happy NY.

Perhaps more than anyone else, he had the power to stop this far-right fascist animal. A yes vote during impeachment would have provided cover for other Republican senators and relegated Trump's legacy to something like Nixon's. Instead, here we are. Yeah, this is what "winning" looks like, Mitch.

What a bootlicking loser. His ex-wife has done more for humanity in the last 5 years than he has his entire life.
December 13, 2024 at 2:29 AM
While you're spending a "lovely afternoon", trans youth of military parents were busy shouldering a new level of fear and anxiety from the consequences of your vote today. We elected you to stand up for the rights of the most vulnerable, and you abdicated that responsibility.

This protects MT from state-wide bans being affirmed by SCOTUS, but I assume there's still a risk of a federal care ban, or de-funding federal money to MT care clinics?

Not complaining or try to throw cold water here... I'll take good news these days wherever we can get it.

The pick is shocking and disturbing, for sure.
I know this is just wishful thinking, but part of me hopes that much of this anti-trans rhetoric has been performative, that somehow, they'll move on to a different issue post-inauguration and leave 1% of their own citizens the f alone.
