If BlueSky grows I hope the algorithm will keep things clean and show me what I like and not some political stuff and what not. I just wanna see programming, tech, and game dev stuff! 😊 I hate opening Twitter/X and being spammed with political things and spam…

This looks awesome! Adds a lot to the atmosphere, I’m wondering if you can avoid using physics for this and use a ray cast from the spawn point to the ground and calculate time to impact based off speed? Might improve the FPS a bit

Please let it stay this way 🙏 I noticed toxic people get flagged and have a badge on their profile which is incredible!

I’m a networking nerd so I’m usually biased haha. It’s usually harder to add multiplayer later down the line as you have to usually develop the game with a mindset of networking in mind. In the end don’t change your game for nobody! Follow your vision 😊

You know… in some ways he is correct 😂 On PC it’s less of an issue but yet sometimes I look at games and decide not to get them because they are 100gb+ not because of me but because I know my friends won’t get it cause of slow internet. But I can see this being an issue on mobile especially.

I love the aesthetic! I hope you get the chance to add small group p2p multiplayer as it would for sure appeal to a larger audience. I can see myself roaming this landscape with a group of friends!

This looks awesome! I want to try diving into writing C++ with Godot, want to achieve terrain generation like Cube World, just need to find free time from work to do it

Nintendo… what happened to the Nintendo I once knew? I’m not going to support a company that tries to patent gameplay mechanics. As a game developer I can’t stand for this, it not only introduces complications to developers but it also inhibits innovation. Learn to compete and make better games.
