A fun fact about how bad Burnley are is that -1.43 xG difference per game would be the worst out of any team in the top 5 leagues in any season since 17/18 (as far back as FBRef goes), with Southampton the only team that's close to as bad (next one down is around -1.2 per gamd).

Since these names have all been out there forever, it felt like Eze would have been more fine when combined with a younger striker signing in Sesko rather than another similarly aged signing in Gyokeres.

Personally I was leaning towards Sesko a fair bit, but apparently RB Leipzig were holding firm on a 90m euro valuation and that seems quite steep for a bit of a project.

I mean I think pretty much every game has players saying fuck off at the ref/linesman, so you absolutely could.
If you're going to start enforcing something like this it needs to be communicated beforehand and then enforced consistently, ideally by all of the refs in a given competition.
