I know shooting at random political tweets is below par, but more than 5k likes on someone saying that Musk's team is "the people" and "not the government", to mean "the good guys" shows how words don't mean anything anymore.

I'm no American, so I don't get a say, but I find it interesting that people took these polls to mean "20% support" Mangione, when the bigger story is that the majority _can't decide_ if him killing the guy was right or not. This amounts to tentative support in my eyes.

I'm an okay typist (80 wpm), but I hardly wrote a page since I left school. At the urging of @markburgessosl.bsky.social, I recently picked up a pen to test if the meditation that is cursive would help collect my thoughts on distributed consistency. So far, I got as far as "f".
