as for my thoughts
it's a normal game, about a girl who...isn't special and a town that doesn't exist. there are no mysteries to be solved—the ending is what you always wanted it to be. the happy ending that was always there, waiting for you. you've wanted it since your heart started to beg. it was never supposed to. you weren't mean to see all of this at all. the world and it's very essence was not meant for the eyes. and yet, here you are. so many breakdowns, so many times where the world falls apart. over and over and over again. you remember, right? the responsibility of this simple, yet impossible task. and yet your heart still beckons, refusing its love to be taken away lest this machine that turns flesh into furniture continue to run. this was not supposed to exist. you know it damn well that it wasn't supposed to, and yet it's still there. so damn impotent, but the message still rings. it's those eight small letters you've been wanting to say since the beginning. even if it all went back to the baseline, it'll still be there. it's just the result of everything being smoothed out. what does this all mean? haven't i already told you? there is no meaning to be found here. we're being literal here, of course. the eight small letters are already the ones you saw, the ones in its title already. the one you've been seeing this entire time. oh, but i'm being cruel. the code is all you've ever wanted it to be, this material can still be made anew no matter how long it takes. it'll be okay. you can climb the ladder alongside me. it's okay to be scared, it's okay to feel like it's all pointless. we only do it because it's the right thing to do: no more, no less. it is the simplest of all things, but it's the most impossible task because this sense of right will forever be marked by what is so utterly wrong with the world. and yet...and yet you still want to see these lilies bloom. so, go ahead. there's no turning back: we're on the floor, and the path is almost over.
