I didn’t get to Thunder Junction prerelease but I will be posting some rootin tootin cowboy pack pulls and probably some commander deck lists this week

Full art borderless commanders in the #MTG precons is SUCH an improvement over the thick cardstock display commanders. Those were straight trash

I know “ #mtg as genre fiction ” hasn’t been the most popular but for a grown up kid who loves detectives and cowboys it pretty much rules

(Assuming this is as real as it looks) My early theory is that these decks will feature in-universe reprints of the WH40K cards. There is a lot of color overlap and I think it’s been long enough for them to identify popular cards from that set that need reprinting

Is this card good? Probably not. Does it fit perfectly into my existing detective themed deck that loves dumping high mv cards in the yard and making gross bugs? Yes, it does does land in that hyperspecific niche

So I’m building an edh deck with a pretty heavy deathtouch theme (14 creatures/enablers). How much creature removal should I add on top of that & my three board wipes?
Having deathtouch feels interactive to me in theory but I’m sure I’ll need to spot remove things that aren’t combat threats too

Do people with more MTG limited experience than me expect a good environment with Play Boosters for Karlov Manor (vs. Draft in older sets?)
Usually I buy some set boosters and play commander but if I’m buying playable packs I feel like I should play with them

I don’t love *all* the mtg anime treatments (Ravnica Remastered or otherwise) but I think both these new Orzhov legends look great. Might have to brew some future lists

I know being a gold card limits its commander reach but if you’re in green/black reanimator this card seems great? Fits in a similar slot to diregraf rebirth which is in like 30% of decks for commanders aiming that direction
