This is all so depressing. It makes it hard to get up in the morning to face yet another day of this colossal sh*t show. Just when you think it can’t get any worse, it does.

The current administration has frozen all federal grants, which includes libraries, archives, and museums. This is outrageous in general, but as a retired librarian, I am especially outraged for libraries because it comes on top of banned books and censorship.

I’m shocked. I just learned that Clarence Darrow, not Mark Twain, said: I’ve never wished a man dead, but I have read some obituaries with great pleasure.” After all these years of thinking it was Mark Twain, who knew.
