Why? A person is in pain, and doesn't want to live any more. So they choose to die, and rather than have it be done in an amateur way a doctor helps them.
If done with consent people should be able to choose how to live or die in peace.

Belgium allows euthanasia for psychological suffering too. There was a case where a woman was granted it and her family sued but everything was above board.
Side note: a 29 year old is a woman, calling her a girl implies she is not able to make informed decisions. Or at least not an adult
