For some reason your Bluesky post won't let me respond to you. "Shutdown" as a mechanism is triggered based on certain actions. I'm not sure I would say congress is responsible for working together. They aren't working together well and that's the reason for the shutdown.
@omibell.bsky.social Please help me understand why you and other listeners keep saying Democrats shut the government down? It amazes me that Republicans are in charge of every aspect of government yet no one is blaming them for this shit down. Democrats are not needed in the moment for real.

Yeah @omibell.bsky.social 90 something percent of black women and 80 something of black men voted for Harris. That being said that's just of those that voted. Only 44% of eligible black people voted. The non vote was a vote too. @urbanviewradio.bsky.social
