Is it clear why David Boies would be going along with this? I think I get that the implication is either that this is a sticking point in settlement talks, or threat on Epstein’s/Dersh’s part to sue her, but it seems like truth is on her side, shouldn’t a Legal Luminary like Boies WANT to defend it?

I know it’s beside the point, but I also can’t believe she’s has already had time to have a meteoric rise, charmed career, & mindbogglingly stupid career crashout, plus a year in the purgatory of <checks notes> MALIBU, all by 32. Even before we knew she was an ethics disaster, she wasn’t THAT good.
