I was inspired by the excellent ADSP podcast with @blelbach.bsky.social and @codereport.bsky.social to write a blog post about a technique Bryce mentioned for parallelizing non-associative scans (aka prefix sums). The technique involves parallelizing the calculation of intermediates.
