@omer.land
Van Buren Boys treasurer emeritus, aspiring aedile of Morbovia.

Was a linguist for a while, now back to telling computers what to do.

Holder of a PhD and very often a coffee mug.
I've written an open-source thingy for the Go ecosystem:

github.com/preminger/go...

tl;dr - name a function, and this tool will add `context.Context` plumbing throughout the call graph leading to that function, intelligently reusing existing context arguments where available.

Do any of you ever "compose" made up soundtracks in your dreams? This isn't even a brag - sometimes they're AWFUL - but once in a while I'll wake up from a dream & realize there had been a song playing in the dream that... doesn't actually exist in the real world. 1/2

A cool property of augmented-reality goggles that I had not anticipated is that password fields (e.g. in a web browser) don't have to obscure your passwords as you type them, since your own eyeballs are the only ones that can see the "screen" 😁 1/2
