Our volunteers all receive the training and information they need before beginning their role, as well as ongoing support whenever they need it. We couldn’t do our work without them.

Volunteering with Omega brings many advantages, whatever your stage of life - a chance to put a smile on someone’s face, to bring purpose to your day and to help develop new friendships, skills and knowledge. It can even enhance your CV when applying for jobs.

Some of our new volunteers are students, who found us thanks to our collaboration with a number of universities including Manchester, Warwick, Southampton and others.

The grant will help us continue our vital work supporting people who are experiencing profound loneliness and social isolation.
