Oasis had concerts in Australia in Nov 7 and 8, don't know if this is the reason Oasis are snubbed again, they can not appear.

Zevon and Salt N pepa are very very deserving, but it is disrespectful. If rock hall just wants to put them regardless, why even needs the whole voting process. Just decided by nom com is enough

Fan vote winners were always classic rock acts or popular music stars, dmb and phish were only two exceptions (jam band), and not surprised they both struggle for first time

Should be noted that Alan Light just said Cyndi was better candidate than b52, and did not compare with other new wave/alternative acts. Cyndi was not nominated as pop star, she was nominated as "female rocker" (she was in rotation with Pat B, Nicks... based on Alan Light's statement)
