An artist describing a curious world

No AI. Ever.
Whether it is a neighbour’s dog or your own, some things are just the same. This image I made back in 2020 just doesn’t age. Anyone who has ever loved a dog knows this.

A few snippets from Ann Rice's Blood and Gold. So I myself might find them again somewhere. So they may cross my path again, most likely, just after when I had the most need for them.

It has been one of those weeks
when nothing moves,
when the currents of time go still
reflecting dreams perfectly
yet giving no direction for future.

It has been a week
when swimming onwards has been impossible,
A time when messages don't reach friends
And no endevour can be advanced.

Marius de Romanus, an ancient, powerful vampire, wonders if his paintings are "good". And so, timidly, he leaves open the door to his atelier, so his human friends may enter while he slumbers and judge his work to be acceptable or to condemn it.

I would like to collect seashells here in this new box:
The small bright things I find along the life,
The odd treasures illuminating the pages of my diaries.
The tiny stories I tell my heart.

This might be a bit naive of me, but aren't all the good things?
