Nancy Mace is exactly the kind of opportunistic, attention-seeking grifter that is everything wrong with politics today. She doesn’t care who she has to destroy in pursuit of some clicks and eyeballs. She’ll claim she’s looking out for “wOmEn aNd GiRLs” when in reality she’s looking out for herself.

BIG NEWS: A Wyoming judge just struck down WY's abortion bans.

And get this: The judge invoked a constitutional amendment codifying a right to make health care decisions... that was passed in 2012 by conservatives who thought it'd screw Obamacare! Just backfired.

My understanding is that North Carolina Senator Thom Tillis is likely to retire. Big pickup opportunity for Democrats—but also a Republican we can maybe pressure enough to help defeat some of the more crazy cabinet appointees like Hegseth. I’m watching out to see what Tillis says and does there.

Alarming: Four reasons Trump can target enemies more easily this time:

*MAGA loyalists in govt will carry out threats this time
*No internal resistance
*Zero pushback from GOP
*SCOTUS grant of immunity

On the pod, Susan Glasser is brilliant on all this:

Trump’s Angry New Threats on Truth Social Hint Darkly at What’s Coming
As Trump rages at critics, New Yorker writer Susan Glasser explains how he’ll be able to persecute his enemies more easily this time—helped by a more pliant GOP and a near-total absence of guardrails.
