Some cores for mister (and the Superstation) have save states, but you could use these just like PS1 memory cards if you want it to mimic real hardware. The cores will also let mem cards be used like normal.

$30 is crazy but premium is fine for me because my backlog prevents me from playing these games day of release anyway. I can wait a few months and just pay $15 on occasion to play some things and cancel after.

The problem with that comparison is that buzz in 2023 came in around March>May. We were one of the best teams in the league from August>October. This team might be capable to do it again if healthy, but there simply isn’t time left to have a slump.

For sure, communication has definitely never been their strong suit. Another update is that the SS1 console will be ready this month but the dock will be 2-4 weeks behind, so buyers will have the option of having them sent together or separate if they choose. He said email coming soon on that.

PlayStation and SegaCD you will have no issues with. Saturn has a few titles that are not yet running perfectly. Grandia is the biggest example. Superstation is running on Mister hardware/platform so the performance is identical to the main FPGA options available elsewhere.

He posts regular updates in the discord as has said as recently as last week that he expects shipping to start this month.

I don't care for it. Part because my least fav kit is the 2014 white (which this is trying to be) and part because I think it attempts to invoke multiple of our old kits and fails at capturing the feel of any of them.

Can't complain too much about what amounts to a free nice depth rental for a year and breaking even. Hopefully they have something cooking for this money even by tomorrow, but if not I am excited for what Summer brings.

Common sense says it’s rooted in reality since Issa was the person to literally greet these signings in the airport and we know all of the other places Bez was involved (stadium, city, league dealings, etc)

Confident. Because we know from first hand quotes within the team that Issa was responsible for the scouting and signing of players prior to Bez leaving, including Cucho. Bez was president of the club overseeing many elements beyond roster construction, he was not acting as the sole GM/Scout.
