As a 39y/o I could not fathom trying to date anyone in their 20s. Even if we somehow actually share common interests, it just feels like you're talking to someone from a different generation. Same way it feels that way talking to someone in their 50s.

What you're doing is one of the ultimate ways to show love and appreciation to your parents. I hope I am so lucky that my son is able to care for me one day. And that I am able to raise him to do so without hesitation, as your parents have clearly done with you. I'd be so damn proud 💜💛 (again, 😮‍💨)

I'm so sorry you and your parents are having to go through this right now. Our society should be supporting you financially, but at least we of your community can hopefully help support you emotionally. Hang in there 💜💛 (i know you know how hard it was for me to pull up hearts of those colors)
