I think it’ll come down to how much pageantry they want to make out of it…. Seemingly by solid news accounts this thing was the most evasive ship the size of 2 football fields upon the 7 seas.

Honestly surprised more don’t keep a “sports psychologist” on staff.
Yes, I know there is a difference between a sports psychologist and a more traditional psychologist. But, I think with some of the staffs you’d need the “sports” to get some guys to go (sad but true).

Given the “Story is currently developing” nature of this that seems valid. Dust needs to settle on the “With Cause*” ones a lot more.

Yeah, but he’s the all time leader in HRs for 2nd Basemen…. Which apparently is the only qualifier you need. 🙄

I need to go back and listen to Who killed College Football? again. Today just feels especially “meh” and that’s with 1 of my 2 schools in the CFP.

Probabaly don’t HAVE to but it’s also not a bad idea on a team by team basis to do additional mitigation for volatility? Especially since you’re REALLY just trying to build a consensus opinion + removing the math minority opinions means the majority opinion/math is likely stronger/more aligned. 🤷♂️

Between this and FSU a few years ago. I have become very pro. 12 teams MAX conferences (w/ 1 P4 OOC required) + BCS selected top teams in a 4 team playoff.
1) B/c People gotta stop riding so hard for these 2-3 loss teams.
2) It removes Humans doing transitive wins as much as possible. 🤷♂️

In fairness for Iowa, Kirk kinda does it in a clinging to his belief and fundamentals kinda way…. OU and Bama is more just a bi-product of the teams. Idk agree one is WAY more fun to watch they the other tho.

In fairness this is mostly how I consume the sport now. It is what it is, I don’t need to watch arguments over what it is and should be for 60 hours each week between Saturday and Tuesday. (Or the 12 hours is the case today)

Could you also offer ESPN courses on concise speaking they have this rambling problem where they spends 3/4 of a program on speculation on what the outcome of said program will be.
