The question is what they stand for without their tax cuts. Incompetent local government leaves wild claims about immigration. Will people realise the immigration claims are as untethered to reality as the tax claims?

There was a fair amount of this blaming on LBC on Saturday too. Various callers making the point that Zelenskyy shouldn't have said what he said in public (as if the show for the cameras was his idea) or that he alone had been disrespectful. Not much pushback (in my humble view) from the presenter.

The US desperately needs a leader of the opposition equivalent. It is surprising that nobody has stepped into this vacant role.

Although that being said, a lot of the problems in the US are caused by people using technology to only hear what they like to hear. Having a range of views on LBC and other media is a Good Thing overall (even when I end up yelling at the radio on Saturdays.)
