With "weeping angel" type enemies, getting stuck in dead ends will be repetitive and frustrating. A few dead ends are added as exceptions, but the player can find useful items should they take the risk...

The plan is to maintain tension whilst giving the player full freedom of movement.

I play a lot of Outlast Trials, and I noticed there's almost always multiple ways out of each room, allowing you to weave through trials without hitting a dead end - I took inspiration from this for the game!
