My last post was not about closing vital services like food banks or women’s centres. It was about charities pooling campaigning efforts 2 win #UBI. I was also NOT saying orgs do not already lobby for #UniversalBasicIncome. The character limits leaves little room for nuance folks, pick your battles

Totally agree with Scott here. Most opposition to UBI comes from misunderstanding it. It’s not a handout—it’s a floor. A redesign of a system that punishes need instead of preventing it. Once that clicks, the debate looks very different.
