I smell the promise of a $2000 Venezuelan oil dividend coming!
January 3, 2026 at 10:33 PM
Mr. Rhetorical here:

If we can use Venezuela's resources to run the country, why can't we use America's resources to do things like pay for healthcare for all?

My son walked into the room and saw the chyron about Venezuela saying Turnip says we are going to run the country, and without missing a beat said, “that must be a typo. It should say ROB the country.” 😂

Proud parent moment.

If bombing "drug boats" that pose no provable danger to any specific American is "defending" the country, when will we see the delivery trucks to chain fast-food restaurants being taken out by drones?

I mean, statistically this would be a better "bang" for your buck...right?

Rs: Gun deaths are sad but acceptable to keep our 2A rights.

Also Rs: Every Afghan that helped us must be kicked out now because one of them shot people.

Only someone who sees themselves as a king would think the 18th century definition of sedition applied to today's America.

And only a bald-faced liar would stand behind a podium and mischaracterize statements in defense of said want-to-be king....

We all want to fly in a safe environment.

Air Traffic Control is funded by excise taxes and fees we and the airlines pay.

It is monumentally stupid that there would ever be a shortage of controllers or controllers going without pay.

This is too important to both safety and commerce.

I think the one main thing Pam Bondi was doing yesterday in dodging questions and deflecting them with personal attacks was to be careful not to lie to congress.

She knows that now that they have opened this can of worms it is very likely that one day she will face well-deserved legal scrutiny.

Here’s a simple at-home test:

Do you want to see people that say things you don’t like punished by the government?

If the answer is yes you are an authoritarian.

I'm really not sure why all of the reporting seems to assume that anything the FBI says it finds in John Bolton's home(s) was actually there before they walked in the door. A weaponized FBI can't be trusted in any way. They will need to prove they didn't plant evidence IMO.

I wonder when John Bolton will release his rendition of the Star-Spangled Banner, and will Joe Biden be the one reciting the Pledge of Allegiance over the top of it?

Interesting times....

Making sure I have this right:
Doing criminal things to a criminal is okay because doing criminal things to a criminal is somehow not criminal and does not make you a criminal? Is that how this works?

Are we absolutely sure that the Constitution's protection from cruel and unusual punishment doesn't extend to having to listen to Stephen Miller and Karoline Leavitt?

So, you're telling me there isn't even like a "I have read and accept" checkbox you have to scroll all the way down to even find in order to vote on a House bill that threatens to destroy the lives of millions of people?

It seems like we need that....

There is a funny thing that happens when you claim to have made "200 trade deals" when in fact you've made just one inconsequential one: people stop believing what you say.

Funny how some policies coming out of MAGA are recycled Dem ideas that were an existential treat to democracy back when Dems supported them. Maybe--just maybe--healthy food for kids was a good idea all along....

The DOW may be down today, but so far it is really just a little bit. This is after the announcement of 50% tariff on the EU starting in just days which would have previously tanked the markets--but today just produced a bit of a shrug. Maybe people are beginning to see the Emperor's wardrobe....

The recent narrative that Trump is doing all of his corruption out in the open has to stop. Sure, we know about the corruption they are doing out in the open, but what on earth would lead anyone to believe that is all of the corruption they are doing? Let's find out what they are hiding behind it.

Telling Walmart to "eat the tariffs" is the most hilarious way yet of admitting that their plan all along was actually a huge tax INCREASE on corporations. It is even funnier that Rs in congress never seemed to pick up on this fact and went right along with it....

Why do so many of 47's posts end in "Thank you for your attention to this matter!" as if he is some HOA president trying to force someone to replace their non-compliant mailbox?
