I’ll always carry my creative background with me. It shaped who I am and gave me skills I now use in the business world every day. But stepping into a new chapter taught me that success isn’t about sticking to one narrative. It’s about rewriting it in a way that feels right for you.

For me, acting was fulfilling in so many ways, but it wasn’t always what made me happiest. Letting go of the need to meet a traditional definition of success allowed me to embrace something new—something I’ve found even more rewarding.

That’s the thing about transitions—they’re not always about making a big, dramatic leap. Sometimes they happen gradually, giving you space to reflect and redefine what success really means. Is it regular work? Fame? Or is it simply being happy?

It was a choice that might’ve felt impossible a few years earlier, when the idea of “quitting” felt tied to a stigma of failure. But by the time I made the call, it didn’t feel like quitting. It felt natural. Right.

But as time went on, and my life and situation evolved, and I changed and evolved, something wasn’t sitting right. Eventually, I made the decision to actively step back. I asked my agent to stop submitting me for roles.
