This is the same for aspiring and even experienced translators. You cannot learn if you rely on AI. If you do not learn then you cannot improve. You will never get better at your craft nor even gain the skills to see when the machine is wrong.
Even accepting the premise that AI produces useful writing (which no one should), using AI in education is like using a forklift at the gym. The weights do not actually need to be moved from place to place. That is not the work. The work is what happens within you.

Had some unexpectedly good Italian (well, Japanese Italian) food tonight. The restaurant also had my husband's favorite wine, which is apparently rate outside of Italy. All in all, a nice little Birthday Eve.

I am cursed with "being good at my corporate office job" which means I keep getting more responsibilities without any significant increase in pay, but I also don't know how to slack off without feeling like a terrible person.
