Not really interested in AAA that much normally but this showed why AAA can be nice: The chance to spend a lot of time with characters and build up relationships, having time for all the nuances - like reading a long book

Did like the original trilogy but have to agree that the 2018 one is on another level and fantastic in so many ways (haven't played Ragnarok yet). The setting, the storytelling and the complexity of the characters, the game feel -

Interesting! It's something I did in a similar form for creature footsteps (and pretty easy to setup in Unreal - you just have to align the separate sound elements with the respective frames in the animation). Would consider that for human footsteps too if there's a higher desired sense of realism!

The thing I'm probably the most proud of is the little robot's engine sound which seamlessly changes depending on parameters such as speed and battery level (done in FMOD).

Looking back at the game, there are definitely sounds and music I would have approached differently (as it always is with older work), but overall I'm still very proud of my (and our!) work here.

While the game is placed in a dystopian sci-fi setting, there's this lovable and cute little robot at the core of the game which "wakes up" in this solitary world. Perhaps a bit similar to Oddsparks' Sparks and therefore maybe not different altogether.
