His voice sounded slushy. It was dripping despair. I can't imagine having heard it while he was still alive and not being 100% convinced he'd be relasped in a month.

i read Carrie by Stephen King. I've read it ~5 or 6 times, so it was a good choice for me. I *know* the book, so following along was easy-ish. Frankenstein would have been good for me too. I was reading kids books, but that was less challenging & they were shorter. I wanted to WORK on something.

very cute! they look nicely lightwieght for summer nights, but give good coverage if you're feeling a little more modest (which I usually am). SO these are perfect in my estimation!!! and the print is fun too!
