I love that Yahiko is like a first 'son' for Kaoru and Kenshin in a way 🥹 He started out loud and hard headed and now he's gotten crazy good at his craft and a girl he can go back to.
They taught him so much and seeing them look so proud of him is sweet 🤧

I was in tears laughing at everyone doubting that Sano was one of Kenshin's friends and Hoji's resolve to straight up yoink his nails off was INSANE. Scary dedication right there

I especially really liked the little addition of how they did the closeup of Kaoru's eye when she saw Kenshin too, it gave me vibes like the manga~
The scenes with Sano's thoughts on Anji and how they were going to deal with Aoshi with Kaoru hugging Misao were also really nice~

Seeing how citizens were reacting during the fire, especially against the 2 shishio goons that went to Megumi really made the fire seem so much bigger than before. I'm a fan! The Chief actually held himself together better than I thought he would, especially against 2 Ten Swords.

They sure jumped around a lot this episode. Sanosuke having zero idea where the engine room is and Hoji thinking some flowers would stop him from getting to the engine room really cracked me up.
I'm real interesting in what'll happen with the ship fights and the commander.
