I like making music and games and drawings and pixel art :)
Only thing left to do is to do it.
Now that I think about it, it would probably suffice to increase the radius of the dead zone for a few frames when you encounter a quick move towards (0,0).

You're definitely not expected to fix this on the game level, but if you find many people have trouble with it, I'd guess it's generally not too difficult to detect the input moving at a fast pace towards the origin, and nullifying the overshoot afterwards could help with this!

It's a real issue that has had me make (in-game-)fatal mistakes in many games. I just see it as an unfortunate reality of controllers, some worse than others.
A disgusting solution to this would be to subtly lerp the stick input every frame, acting as a sort of "low pass" filter.

There's so much more I want to write but I can only gush so hard in 300 characters and also I'm trying to say nothing concretely because you should experience that for yourself!

In Stars And Time! It's a ~30h RPG which starts at the last dungeon. The party have a long adventure behind them and it shines through in every little interaction they have.
It's really well written and funny and emotional and lets you get inside the main character's head in an interesting way.

If you mean by bullying "lovingly tease", then sure, but otherwise no! Social ostracisation is undeserved no matter how big a dork you have been.

If it's taking long enough that you can watch it work, then I guess you're learning Python ;)

My biggest struggle is knowing where to go with it, in terms of design. There are infinite paths in front of me, and I can't choose which one I want most. There are people with a heart that shouts its desires really loudly. But mine is always mumbling: "There are pros and cons to each choice..."

I think video games are a perfect medium for nudging a culture towards accepting failure. People experience trial and error in games like Celeste, Dark Souls and even Mario (Maker/World) Kaizo levels, and take the experience of "finally, after all this time I succeeded" to the real world.

Both on battery saving mode and outside I get 50Hz at first, and then after a second or two 60Hz. I think that might either be automatic switching to the most "ideal" setting or just the website having not enough data in the first few seconds.

If you want to spice things up, you can switch between New Leaf and prior (6 A.M.), New Horizons (5 A.M.) and the Dutch Railways (4 A.M.) as you please!

I'd never seen this one before. It's incredible! With this and another Kirby comic you made, you really get a feeling out of the world of Kirby that's only hinted at in the games.

There's not a whole lot of comics that can make happy tears well up in my eyes, let alone three pages. But this did!
