This is really hard to photograph well but I’ve been working on this beautiful 1982 kit for the past month and finished it today! I was in a stitching slump for 9 mo or so, this summer I finally did two much smaller projects and then hyped myself up for this. I really love it. 🤩

Here’s me and my Toby, this was probably ‘97/98 based on my hair? We got him when I was 14, so if my photo dating is right, I was 16/17 here. Toby was technically my sisters dog but he was really my moms dog and I was third choice, haha, but he was great, I’d get a bichon again in a heartbeat 💗

I made the 5th Grade Promotion slideshow, and I really didn’t need to labor over the timing of the music because every time it switched to the next kid, all the kids would roar that students name with unabashed joy, I had tears in my eyes for all 122 of them, it was such a special experience.

It’s… rough. One pair of pants was unscathed, but everything else looks a lot like this. The good news is it was a relatively small load, the bad news is that 3 of my middles good shirts are stained. Everything is currently soaking in cold water and oxi clean overnight, we’ll see what happens!

Someone (a very sweet and well meaning child) put food coloring in their pocket for reasons unknown and someone else (me) has been lax about checking pockets because I mistakenly thought we were past that 😱😭
