This year has been so fucking hard. It’s difficult not to think that my life had peaked last year without my realizing and this year is the start of its decline. Feeling grief, sad and hopeless.

Grieving for your cat that is slowly dying from cancer is weird. I start to disassociate from the situation because her illness is so drawn out. Death is always in the back of my mind but at the same time, I’m still going through the motions of normalcy, so death seems less real.
