Here’s part of what Fetterboob had to say to my letter: “Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) performs an important job for our country, and I don’t support calls to abolish it.”

As a parent of 4 college students the colleges always emphasized that my kids were adults and that everything would go to them unless they allowed us. Which is fine but then why do I need to put my income on the fafsa form? Shouldn’t their tuition be decided on what they make?

I’m too tall for Mr. Met and my one daughter is too short and the other too tall. Not that any of us are interested but it would be funny to watch some heads explode if my trans daughter became Mrs. Met

Fetterman wrote back to me saying: “Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) performs an important job for our country, and I don’t support calls to abolish it.” Dems are very much complicit in everything happening in MN et al.

That tells me that the majority of republicans are sick fucks

My friend and wife are on GLP-1’s and my friends dr told him he needs to eat more protein because of the muscle loss from the GLP-1 but my wife’s dr never mentioned that. My wife’s GP is very thorough and spends quite a bit of time with her but do you need more on a GLP-1?

Of the movies I saw, I would agree with Weapons. It was the first movie since Godzilla minus one where I went in with no expectations and came out saying: that was really good.

Anti-matter Blues? I listened to both of them, the reader made Mickey sound a little like Fry from Futurama.

My wife often says that she is invisible at work. She’ll say something like: I’m 58, that means I’m fucking invisible to senior management (which are predominantly white men, I know big surprise).

But Allison, as a lapsed Catholic, let me tell you about Antisemitism. I just got done telling my black friend about racism, so I have time know.

I just read PZ Myers post about this before seeing yours. Great minds and all that.

For me that would be Godzilla minus one. My top movies this year would be: One battle and Weapons. Most disappointing would be: Eddington, Mickey 17 (book bias) and Bugonia. Bugonia wasn’t bad, and I liked the Donnie character a lot but the ending? Predictable, meh? Idk. The other two were not good.

Well don’t go by me, and truth be told I got halfway through and said: Christ, these people are f-ing miserable and put the book down. I’ve been told that that’s what makes the book great. Might have just picked it up at the wrong time in my life.

That’s how I felt about Wuthering Heights.

I felt conflicted rooting for a truly awful human being but all the characters were awful in some way, Chalamet being the worst. The acting was very good but I feel they missed something by not developing Fran Drescher’s character.

Who or whom? I suck at grammar and semi colons and who/whom always confound me.

Polling says otherwise. People generally don’t give a shit about trans people positive or negative. And why is me wanting a better candidate then a cross over conservative make me vote for a Republican? I voted for Clinton, Biden and Harris, none of who are progressive.

There a bunch of reasons why Kamala lost but imo, the main reason was because the US is deeply racist and misogynist. Not because of the left staying home.

NYC is not as deep blue as you think. They elected Eric Adams and Rudy Guliani.

I would say women’s rights, LGBTQ rights (namely trans rights), Gaza to name a few. Don’t need another Cuellar/suozzi. Did the dems pay attention to the mayoral race in NYC to see what excited voters and what didn’t? Find someone better.

Saw them in Brooklyn for the Green Naugahyde tour. No Pork Soda, except a Nature Boy tease, but it was a great show.

Assorted chocolates from a local chocolate company Gertrude Hawk.

I sent my rep my objections, we’ll see if he gets back to me but either way I don’t hold out much hope for Rob Bresnahan.

I don’t mind running, my 59 year old knees do though, but my kids were runners in HS. My daughter ran one year of D1 XC and T&F before transitioning. She has eligibility left but with the current environment, she could not compete. Shame, I loved watching cross country events.

I’m not a conspiracy theory person but the US political system plays out like the movie Snowpiercer.
