My mom said an estimated 1800 showed up for a #nokings protest along the Sarasota/Manatee county line and there where two simultaneous protests in Manatee county this morning. Plus there is an even bigger event planned for the bay front in Sarasota this evening. Wow! This is Florida!

My mom just recited this poem (she’s a writer, so cut her some slack). But, you know what? I see her point. All this for the want…the want of a parade, the want for power, the want for idealism…go ahead and fill in the blanks. At the end of the day, it’s all just nails.

My mom was at a town hall yesterday, she said our Rep doesn’t like to talk to his constituents but they had a town hall anyway. She said a lot of questions were answered by @davidjolly.bsky.social. She feels that there is hope. I’m glad. From what she told me - i don’t like our rep either.
