This piece on Kenyans abused in Saudi Arabia, and government complicity, is a shocking read. www.nytimes.com/2025/11/14/w...

Yes, he's a vile person objectively stoking the flames that are burning the world, but he also makes us money, so let's split the difference and go with "neutrality".

Tucker Carlson's interview with Putin is full of golden moments.

I'm not saying Yaroslav *wasn't* wise incidentally, but imo his colossal size and ability to hold a church unaided in his hand were greater claims to fame.

Not many things make me feel sympathetic to Trump but I wouldn't wish one of Putin's crazy-Facebook-uncle rants about Yaroslav the Wise on anyone.

I'm a huge fan of this headline.

Looking like Chelsea FC? So, previously owned by a Russian oligarch, but now in hock to American hedge funds?

There's some imagined slight behind this "kitchen cabinet" thing, but I think I'm too weary of his bullshit to try and find out what it is. Does anyone know?

I've got a new book coming out.

Everything you wanted to know about why the world is so bad at stopping money laundering, with a surprise side detour to Bicester Village.

There's so much here about the role of Telegram, Tether, Dubai, Kyrgyzstan, etc. It's really worth reading. Western countries need to get much better about limited Russian financial flows via crypto, or sanctions will rapidly become meaningless.

Ponzi schemes have other ponzi schemes that bite 'em, and so it goes ad infinitum.

The Daily Mail discovered that Wales existed when we wanted to use Welsh names for the national parks but, just a few short months later, they've forgotten again.

While talking about Farage political vehicles, amazingly UKIP is still a thing. Here it is, just beating "void ballots" for the coveted second-last spot in yesterday's by-election. I wonder if a day will come when Reform UK will be limping along in the same way, with Nigel off somewhere else.
