I'm currently editing an audiobook. Breath removal, mixing, removing mouth sounds, etc. And I gotta say, I adore this work. It feels like maybe most people would find it tedious, but I love the slow, meditative rhythm. It's like a puzzle that sounds really good when it's done.

I was always a wallflower. Never danced at weddings, hung at the back at shows etc. Now I'm older. Many less give a f*cks. It's SO much more fun to be an engaged audience member. And I've never met a performer who doesn't deeply appreciate an enthusiastic audience.

I definitely bought a bunch of stuff today. Supported my friends' businesses and got some things that I've been wanting for music production for a LONG time at a great price. But Black Friday still feels really gross. To be bombarded with consumerism all week takes the fun out of the good parts.

It's crazy how expensive everything feels, but how those same expenses wouldn't even be a blip on someone's financial radar. Income inequality is, like... bad.

After years of great times at this place, I think this was the first time I got to play my songs on the Thesis stage. Fast forward to next month, I have 3 shows there with 3 different bands. Growing as a musician is so unbelievably rewarding. And man, momentum is crazy
