With the SKIA backend in iPlug2, it's pretty easy to just drop in shaders (SKIA has it's own SkSL shading language which is like GLSL).

RIP Angelo Farina, who developed the sine sweep technique used widely for IR capture in convolution reverbs amongst other things. A few weeks ago we also lost Dave Malham, a former colleague who developed HOA/Ambisonics theory in the 90s, and was a friend of prof Farina.

I remember when I first got into audio programming how hostile and scary IRC servers like music-dsp on efnet seemed to a newbie. I really like that discord is so much more friendly.
