Democratic Senators need to manage Senator Schumer more effectively. This one year extension offer was very obviously going to be rejected by Thune and seen as Democratic weakness by all sides. Having both the moral high ground and a recent election signaling an approval of resistance then HODL.

On its very face let us also look at the exception that is before the FCC that would essentially allow a mega broadcast conglomerate dominating 80% of U.S. households. This is the leverage that the FCC waged in its pressure on ABC to fire Kimmel.

Why not. I cancelled my Showtime with Paramount+ account after CBS cancelled Colbert. I have never been to Chik-fil-A. I avoid Home Depot and do not have a nut bag pillow. We cannot entirely disengage with all conglomerates but we can make a genuine attempt.
