In Philippine #Hokkien, one way to pluralize nouns is to add a numeral and a classifier.
You can also use a pluralized noun from English but if you use the Tagalog pluralizer mga and add a numeral and a classifier, it is ungrammatical 😱

Finally finished working on my Hokkien vocab list! I compared the (general) Taiwanese and Philippine varieties of Hokkien. As you can see, there are some (significant) differences phonologically and lexically, plus the tone values could be different! Quite confusing but fun!
