In beginning of this year I wanted to write about normal AI usage but studio with that project is dead now lol.
It turns out that even thoughtful and somewhat ethical AI usage in concept art is not profitable.
With all of work hours dedicated to fix AI mistakes it just not worth it.

With all good technology of face recognition AI can generate normal still looking faces sometimes.
But even with all of that electricity wasted it can't generate normal skin, it just have that ewww look, real ewww.
The posture, the knees, the hands, everything just screams noo.

I think we need more than programs to poison AI, we need some mechanism to find artworks it made collages from. Some reverse AI search engine.

I have a week of waiting for new 2d illustration project to start so hmm... some more practice? I heard from fellow artist that you could learn how to draw good faces in 2 weeks. I ll try it. And some more gesture drawing

Its just, taking an advantage of bad copyright laws, just taking all of hard work, mushing it in some AI marshmallow and putting nice PS filter on top. And a tree die in process.
I guess art/writing/coding will be insufferable for next year or so, and we will kill forest.

Long time ago, when PS introduced somewhat functional filters a lot of people try to scam other by pretending to be an "oil artist". And you know, on FB a lot of people are still paying for that. Now with AI its like similar but on a bigger scale and with severe environmental impact.
